I was born in Washington, D.C. on July 16th.  I have one sister, two step-sisters and one step-brother.  I am a proud aunt to two nephews and three nieces!  

When I am not teaching, I love to spend time with my friends and family.  I participate in two cooking clubs, a book club and I play pool one night a week.  One of my favorite activities to do is TRAVEL!  There is so much to see and do in this beautiful country of ours (and other countries as well!)  I have included some pictures I took on a WONDERFUL cross country trip last summer.    

 

Over the summer, I taught summer school and worked at Merriweather Post Pavilion.  I also went to Richmond for a family reunion, traveled to Penn's Cave in Pennsylvania, Great Falls in Virginia, and enjoyed the summer days.  In August, my sister and her husband welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Grace!
